Lenox Athenaeum programs are held at the Winthrop Estate, a fully restored Gilded-Age mansion in the heart of Lenox, Massachussetts. Lectures and concerts take place in the Music Room; Gourmet Tastings and meals are held in the Dining Room and Conservatory. Receptions take place in the Grand Foyer or outside on the Verandah, overlooking the Great Lawn with views of Lenox Mountain.

In addition to being the home of the Lenox Athenaeum, the Winthrop Estate is available as a luxury vacation rental or special-event site, perfect for weddings, family vacations, romantic getaways, catered dinners, and private affairs.
